The development
For this photo development, I used Photoshop to change the curve level which created a more darker atmosphere so this made my model's hair darker and her lips. I then changed the image to black and white, it then came up with an option to change the percentage of colouring in it, so I decreased the percentage of red used which created a dirtier looking skin and darker which I thought looked quite effective for the type of photograph that I want.
Again with this photograph, I used Photoshop to change the curve level, this time I only changed it slightly to make the photograph slightly darker, I then used the dodge tool to make the eyes brighter as I wanted them to stand out the most. When I changed it to black and white this time, I decreased the percentage of the yellow which made the skin slightly darker and look dirtier. I then used the blur tool to blur out his neck, top and ears, then using the sharpen tool, I sharpened his eyes to stand out even more.
Using Photoshop, I again changed the curve level so the hair and skin went darker, I then changed it to black and white. Once I had changed it to black and white, I again changed the percentage of the colours so it looked dirtier and rougher, I then used to dodge tool to make the eyes and the whole photograph brighter.
I changed the curve level on this again, so it made the eyes darker and the hair, I then changed it to black and white. Once I had done this, I changed the percentage of the colours again decreasing them. Once I had done this, I used the dodge tool to brighten the skin and eyes slightly, I then zoomed into the eye and used the dodge tool a few times to make them stand out more. Still being zoomed in on the eye, I used the sharpen tool to sharpen the eye, and then I used the blur tool to blur everything but the eye.
Again, using Photoshop, I changed the curve level so it made her hair and eyebrows darker, this also made her skin slightly darker and more of a shadow around her eyes. I then changed it to black and white, I then changed the percentage of the colours which I decreased and increased. Once I had done this, I used the blur tool to blur out her hair and face slightly but making the highlight on her face sharper, I used the dodge tool once of the highlight on her face to make it stand out even more.
For this development, I again changed the curve level in Photoshop, I also changed the photograph to black and white and then changed the colour percentage again. I then used the dodge tool to brighten the eyes as I thought they were the key feature of the photograph.
For this one, I used Photoshop again changing the curve levels to make her face lighter and her hair more define. I then changed it to black and white, again changing the colour percentage of it. I then used the dodge too to brighten her eyes and hair slightly, I then used the sharpen tool to make her hair stand out more.
Using Photoshop again, I changed the curve level only slightly this time just to make the skin pinker and the hair slightly darker. I then changed it to black and white again changing the percentage levels slightly. I then used the dodge tool to make the eyes a bit whiter, and then the blur tool for the rest of the face.
Using Photoshop, I changed the curve levels so the hair and brows were darker, I then changed it to black and white, when changing the percentages I made sure the lips and the shadow around the eyes are darker. I then used the dodge tool to make the eyes slightly whiter. I then used the blur tool for the whole of the photograph making it blurred. This time I went onto layer and then down to new fill layer and then to gradient which created the black gradient on the image.
Using Photoshop, I changed the curve levels and then changed it to black and white. I then changed the percentage of the colours by decreasing them to make the features of the face slightly darker and to stand out. I then used new fill again and added a black gradient.
